Spicy Margarita

A spicy twist on the margarita matriarch here! The perfect amount of kick that won't overwhelm even the most delicate of palates. Seek instructions below to stir up a pitcher to share with friends or to shake one up one for yourself after a long day!



Instructions :

Individual

2 oz of tequila

1-2 oz of spicy honey syrup

juice of one lime

juice of one lemon

1 jalapeño

You'll need cocktail shaker or just stir in glass

  1. To make the spicy honey syrup simply add 3 tablespoons of honey to 3 tablespoons of water to a small sauce pan. stir to honey is liquid and add a few jalapeño slices for spice. Set aside to cool.

  2. Salt or sugar the rim of serving glass if desired. Fill glass with ice.

  3. Add tequila, honey syrup, lime juice, and lemon juice to a shaker with ice. Give it a shake and pour into serving glass.

  4. Garnish with more jalapeño slices if desired and enjoy!

Instructions:

For pitcher, serves 8

2 cups of tequila

3/4 cup of fresh lemon juice

3/4 cup of fresh lime juice

3/4 cup of spicy honey syrup

2 jalapeños

  1. Make spicy honey syrup. Add a 1/4 cup + 2 tablespoons of honey to a small sauce pan along with a 1/2 cup of water. Turn stove onto low and allow honey to melt down to liquid. Add a couple jalapeño slices for spice. Set aside to cool

  2. Add tequila, lemon juice, lime juice, and syrup to large serving pitcher. Stir to combine.

  3. Add ice to mixture about 2-3 cups until liquid has rose to the top.

  4. Serve in salt or sugar rimmed glasses. Garnish with more jalapeño slices if desired.

Serving note: You can make a few hours in advance before serving. Just add all the ice on guests arrival so as not to water down the margaritas.
